silent night

Living at the farm has given me a new appreciation for silence and as its counterpart, noise as well. It's so silent there and peaceful it's just lovely.

I can hear the wind coming across the field or through the trees. and its so quiet sometimes i can hear the trees moving.

as Christmas is here it gives new meaning to one of my favorite christmas hymns.

Silent night, holy night!
All is calm, all is bright.
Round yon Virgin, Mother and Child.
Holy infant so tender and mild,
Sleep in heavenly peace,
Sleep in heavenly peace.

Silent night, holy night!
Shepherds quake at the sight.
Glories stream from heaven afar
Heavenly hosts sing Alleluia,
Christ the Savior is born!
Christ the Savior is born.

Silent night, holy night!
Son of God love's pure light.
Radiant beams from Thy holy face
With dawn of redeeming grace,
Jesus Lord, at Thy birth.
Jesus Lord, at Thy birth.

have a wonderful christmas. be blessed by your time with family and time to relax.
