Wes Anderson
I saw this movie two weekends ago with David and it was fantastic. The more I think about it the more I love it. From the sweeping shots to the classical music, it's a classic Wes Anderson.
Everyone was "in love" when you were in middle school. There was that someone who understood you and was just as weird and quirky as you. You felt instantly less alone and like you could take on the world now. This movie is about that.
It was filmed in Port Judith, RI, which fortunately is only 30 minutes from Newport where I'll be at the end of the month. I think a morning trip before the folk festival is in order.
Ah I can't wait to see this movie. So cool that you'll be able to visit the filming location soon.
