inspiration - coffee shops

Any city I go to I must find their coffee shops. I'm addicted to trying everyones coffee as well as seeing how their shops are set up. Some are sleek and modern, some are small and mis-matched; I love them all.

Flavorwire just posted an article about the 20 most beautiful cafes in the world and let me say I have a new goal list. I'm going to visit everyone. But the following are a few of my favorites.

Zmianatematu – Łódź, Poland

Callas Cafe – Budapest, Hungary

D’espresso – New York, New York

Coava Brew Bar – Portland, Oregon
I've been to this one, and let me tell you it's awesome.

artist inspiration

Ray & Charles Eames

My favorite couple. They are most famous for the furniture they created, but they are so much more than that.

They created lovely work that mixed science and art in beautiful and intelligent ways. They were wonderful and i love them.

my favorite video by them.

Portland. friday

Today we watched some of the Barista competition, wondered at the trade show, and worked the SCAA booth! My four favorite photos from today.
