Oscars Highlights

Here are some of my favorite moments from years prior Oscars shows.

Tomorrow we are watching the show with David's parents. I love everything about the Oscars; the clothes, the glamour, the emotions. The movies are a big part of me so this night is really important for me to watch.











I think the 81st might me favorite. Hugh Jackman was an amazing host, and having prior winners talk about the nominees was one of the most touching things they have ever done.

I can't wait to see how this year goes. :)

Silver Linings Playbook

A great movie. I love it more and more since it saw it. It's one of those movies that only continues to get better. Bradley Cooper and Jessica Lawrence did a fantastic job.

Hugo

a wonderful film about a boy and and and old man who are unlikely friends but end up helping each other a great deal.

about the magic of mechanical clocks and old films.

the old man is George Méliès who is a famous film maker. here is the video of his film Le Voyage dans la lune made in 1902.

it really is quite magical and deserves all the Oscars that it received. I watched it twice last weekend and loved it dearly. 


i love movies as much as Hugo does so this movie is perfect for me.

it also made me want to go to Paris. (but everything seems to these days)
